3 Healthy Juices That Will Jumpstart Your Day!

Having Endometriosis can be tiring and can really have an effect on our eating habits. Sometimes, especially in the beginning of our Endo journeys, we don’t know that foods are a direct link to what’s going on with us. A lot of the foods we consume causes inflammation, which is a top trigger for Endo, and although it can be hard to do changing your diet and giving up foods, we love can help to begin the healing process.

For me, dairy was the hardest to give up. I loved cheese and it had to be on just about everything I ate, but when I learned that the dairy (cheese especially) could cause estrogen dominance, I knew I had to let it go. I began my journey to juicing. My body had been calling to juice, but I was slow to move. Eventually, I hopped on the train and began creating juices. The surge of energy and healing my body felt when I began is unreal. Juicing is time consuming I will say, but it is also worth it. Below are three juices and recipes I have created and drink on a regular basis. All natural, organic ingredients and all healing to the body. Give them a try!

Trap Queen: 

  • 2 Green Apples 
  • 3 Celery Stalks 
  • 1 Ginger Root
  • Handful of Spinach
  • ¼ cup of Coconut Water 
  • 1 scoop of Green Spirulina Powder (optional)
  • 1 scoop of Chlorella Powder (optional)
  • 1 scoop of Organic Protein Powder (optional)

Peel and slice all ingredients. Cut ends of celery stalk and slice. Juice apples, celery, and ginger root. Blend the rest of the ingredients with juiced fruit and enjoy!   

The ultimate green juice! Trap Queen is comprised of nutrients needed to jump start your energy and can serve as a meal replacement if adding protein powder. Spirulina and Chlorella powder are both forms of algae that provides protein, omega 3 fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and more. Everything your body needs is jam-packed into this green juice!

The Mafia:

  • 1 scoop of Activated Charcoal 
  • 2 Lemons
  • Light Agave Syrup
  • ¼ cup of Spring Water

Peel, slice, and juice lemons. Blend rest of ingredients with lemon juice. Add agave syrup to taste. Enjoy!

This Activated Charcoal Lemonade is a powerful detox and cleanse for the body. The charcoal, a black odorless powder, will trap toxic properties in the gut, preventing absorption into the body. Mix it with lemons and it can be the ultimate detox for your internal health and skin health. Refreshing and cleansing, perfect for a summer day!

Sweet Xan:

  • 2 Medium or Large Sweet Potatoes
  • 2 Carrot Root
  • 2 Celery Stalks
  • 1 Orange
  • 1 Green Apple
  • 1 Ginger Root 

Peel and slice all ingredients. Cut ends of celery and carrot roots and slice. Juice all ingredients and enjoy!

This juice is not only delicious, beautiful in color, but is also extremely healthy for the body given its immense powerful benefits of vitamins, antioxidants, zinc, calcium, iron, and more. Considering that potatoes are made of 80% water and celery is 90%, it’s no secret that juicing those two alone can be impactful, so adding in the other ingredients contributes to cleaning and adding back in water you may be missing from your diet.
